Just wanted to drop a line to your readers about our experiences. I would encourage teams to go and work with Autumn Rain International. God is using them and God has moved through our teams that have gone to deliver books. It has been a true blessing.

"We found ourselves at a remote village under a thatch roof preaching. We saw God move in a miraculous way as we prayed for a deaf and dumb guy. After we had prayed, we asked him to repeat some sounds and he did so. My first reaction was to shout, “He can hear! He can hear!” I have heard of miracles occuring in India and always longed to see these miracles. I guess I have no excuse to doubt the power of God any longer. We visited several other village churches in our time there and I was touched at how passionate the followers were, as they prayed they were truly pouring their hearts out to God. I was reminded of John 4:23-24, “God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and truth.”

"I had a fantastic time here. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to serve the Lord in this manner. He taught me to trust Him and listen to His voice. I learned to be still and know that God is always with me, to be anxious for nothing."
Emily, NZ, 2007

"It's doing something practical for the Kingdom. I learned to trust Him with my whole heart and that He really is with me always. You guys are awesome."
Kirsty, NZ, 2007

"I just loved the interaction with you all and seeing your absolute commitment to the Lord's work. It was great getting safely to the other side and rejoicing in watching God perform another miracle."

"It was an experience I'll never regret. I learned to walk and talk closer to Him. To trust Him and obey His promptings. Watching Him do miracle after miracle."

"I think that people in the church should do this, especially youth / young people"

"After spending one year full-time carrying bibles into China with Autumn Rain International, I soon realized the need for God's Word in Asia is far greater than I first thought! The expereinces I have had with Jesus personally being with me and guiding me through border crossing and spreading God's Word have been the water on my faith that has allowed me to grow. As each week passes and I am involved in the mission of reaching China, I know more and more that Jesus is with me and he is my God. If you want to expand the spiritual borders and capacity of your faith, I challenge you to step out and serve God in the mission field and believe that God is alive and with you! The great call of Jesus Christ is to GO and in the 'Going' you will start 'Knowing' he is Lord."

“Thank you to all at Autumn Rain International, for the opportunity to serve our Lord this way. I got so much out of this mission & have changed so much because of it - for the better! I have been well and truly stirred & shaken out of my comfort zone and will not slide back into it again. I have to give all of me to the Lord - not just bits.”

“We are full of praise and thankfulness to God for allowing us to be part of your world for a week. It was great to be there and we are really glad we went.”

“The experience for me was amazing. I had no idea what effort you had to go through to meet the needs of the believers.”

“My experience with Autumn Rain International was awesome! I am now full on for missions.”

“I discovered God in a way I never had by taking the comfortable route of the status quo. I know I met God under the glare of the customs border guards in a way I’ve never met Him in 20-plus years as a Christian.”

* “What makes Autumn Rain International more real is the low profile of this mission. No stage, no bright lights, just important work that is not in a spotlight. God has spoken to me through the humility of the workers here, reminding me that it is He who receives the Glory, not men.”

“When we put ourselves in situations out of our control the sense of His presence is strong. It taught me to rely on Him more and more. This ministry touches thousands of lives. What an awesome privilege to be a part of it. We can touch only so many lives personally, but indirectly be a blessing to many more.”

“If there is a place where the work of God is visible, it is here. The harvest is plentiful and the workers are few. I saw God do much with only a few willing people. What God could do with many is an even more awesome thought.”

“There is something about touching the scars of a pastor who’s been in prison with your own hands; or holding an orphaned child in your arms ; or standing in a crowded shed in the Himalaya with refugees as they intercede passionately for their nation that just smites your heart and rids you of complacency forever. Being with these people is to be with Jesus. You see Jesus in their eyes and even more amazing – you realize they see Jesus in yours.”
