In 1987, a young American Bible School student ventured to Asia for the first time. By 1989, he was back, ready to start full-time service ministering to the underground church in China. That year he met his wife to be, a nurse from New Zealand. In 1993, they were married in a park in mainland China. In 1996, they founded Autumn Rain and continued serving the needs of the Chinese church as revival swept that burgeoning nation. With their three children, they are now based in the West and commute frequently to Asia.
That is how Autumn Rain International began. Since then, many volunteers from all around the world have joined us, to serve short-term or long term, part-time or full-time. We are not a large organization with flash offices and big budgets. We have minimal overheads in order to be an efficient and effective means by which ordinary Christians can make a significant difference in the lives of others.
